Hmm, so I was looking through my gallery at the stuff from like... however many years ago my account started. -too lazy to go look- Anyway, its rather depressing to see that colouring-wise I haven't improved all that much at all. Mainly because I have no idea where to start with the whole photoshop Elements thing. Give me flat colours and I'm fine, but as soon as I want to go and add any shading, I'm buggered.

So, ultimately I'm going to swallow all my misplaced pride and as for a little assistance. I would be grateful for any tips you could give me on getting a smooth, shading effect with the colours. I don't want it to look like I've just added randome dark patches here and there like it usually does. xD

So yeah, any help you could offer would be fabulous please and thank you.
Also, any help you can give me about sprucing up my journal pages would also be greatly recieved. Thank you once again. xD
